Service Description

*Please contact us with your availability* Enjoy a full day in our jewellery studio where you will have full tuition, expert guidance and exclusive use of our studio. With step by step guidance you will make your very own wedding rings for your special day. We know how precious an occasion it is to make your very own wedding bands, this is why we book you in for the entire day (approx 5-7 hrs including 1hr lunch) allowing you to work at your own pace to make your perfect wedding bands. You will be guided every step of the way by professional jewellers Vanessa and Tom. You will end your day with beautiful rings and a special congratulations gift from us to celebrate when you get home. The full day cost is £450 this includes sterling silver, tools and tuition. If you wish to make your rings in gold this will be an additional cost. Once you have booked your day you will be billed separately for the gold which must be paid for in full. We advise booking your workshop at least two months in advance of your wedding date, this allows time to discuss metal thickness and styles ahead of your session and for us to source the materials as required. As a very rough guide we have provided a price for the gold. The prices provided below are for plain bands and range from the smallest in size to the largest in size rings and are a rough guide as the price will depend on the metal you choose, the metal thickness and your ring size as well as the daily metal price fluctuation. A more accurate price will be provided once we have all the details we need for the rings you would like to make. Prices are estimates for yellow and white gold, plain bands >LADIES: 9ct £200- £400 18ct £500- £700 >MEN: 9ct £400- £600 18ct £800- £1500 Hallmarking is charged at £30 each for different metals or £40 for two if the same metal carat. Engraving will cost from £80+. Stones vary depending on material. If you would like stones set or engraving please let us know what you would like at booking. Collection: Your rings will be ready for collection after your rings have been hallmarked at Birmingham Assay Office and any additional services requested. Please allow up to three weeks after your class for your rings to be ready for collection or they can be posted to you via DHL from £40. Finishing: All rings will be beautifully finished by us prior to you receiving your rings after hallmarking and any additional services.

Cancellation Policy

CANCELLATION POLICY Course refers to any experience or class we offer. Full refunds can be given 24 hours after your booking and up to 14 days prior to your booking. If less than 14 days or less notice is given then 50% of your course fee will be refunded. No refunds issued with less than 1 weeks notice. A course rescheduled cannot be refunded at all if then subsequently cancelled. This policy excludes wedding ring workshops. WEDDING RING WORKSHOP POLICY AND CANCELLATIONS To reserve your place please confirm and reserve your chosen date by booking and paying for the workshop*. If you want to make your rings in silver this is included in this fee, if you want to make your rings in gold you will need to pay for your materials within 7 days of receiving the invoice, due to fluctuating metal prices after 7 days your material will need to be recalculated and may incur an admin fee of £20. We do not hold stock of gold therefore if your invoice remains unpaid on three attempts we reserve the right to cancel your workshop and refund minus all admin charges. *Before booking your workshop please ensure it is at least two months ahead of your wedding date. Also please ensure if you have a specific request for band thickness, shape, material please ensure you communicate this (pictures are always helpful) prior to booking your workshop so we know what you hope to achieve and can advise if achievable to avoid disappointment. We can provide an estimated price for your gold but for a more accurate price you and your partner will need to come to the workshop to have your ring size measured. If you cancel your workshop within 24 hours of booking you will receive a full refund (£430). Once you have booked your day it is assumed you are happy to proceed and we will calculate the price of your material and invoice you for this as explained above. Once materials are paid for your booking is then fully firmed and your workshop is to proceed on the day you have booked. If you should then cancel the materials are non refundable and your reservation fee is refundable minus all admin fees.   Please contact Vanessa with any questions you may have.  Classes are for adults over the age of 17 only. Changes to course dates: If we need to amend or postpone your class due to our reasons such as a tutor illness or inaccessible workshop etc, we will reschedule your class when the workshop is available to suit all participants where 2 people have booked on. We will give you as much notice as we can (please ensure we have your up-to-date mobile phone/email details at booking). We regret we cannot be responsible for the cost of pre-booked travel and accommodation arrangements. Refunds & Transfers: Please ensure you can attend all of the dates of the course before you book a place. In general classes run for a minimum of 2 hours or 1 day as specified in the course description, Special Event Workshops run for 1 full day or 2 full days over a weekend.  If you do wish to cancel your course you may do so as stipulated above. Rescheduling classes is only possible if the workshop is available for use. If 2 people are booked onto a course then the rescheduling can only occur if both parties agree with the date(s) offered by the booking manager. Rebooking is at the discretion of the booking manager and cannot be refunded at all if subsequently cancelled.
