I'm an independent jewellery designer-maker with a passion for designing and making from my jewellers bench and I have a workshop based in Birmingham's historic Jewellery Quarter. I am a freelance Jewellery Tutor offering tuition from my studio and venues around Birmingham, I am a permanent Artist Tutor at the Midlands Arts Centre and the second award winning Jeweller in Residence at the Museum of the Jewellery Quarter 2019-2020.
I trained and graduated from the UK's prestigious School of Jewellery Birmingham (BCU) with Distinction in Jewellery and Silversmithing (HND) in 2016.
About My Work
I design and hand-craft unique precious metal jewellery ranging from small charm necklaces and earrings, to larger detailed pendants, brooches and rings; some with moving or hidden elements. My work is inspired by nature, the wonders of the world around me, holidays abroad and carefree, happy childhood memories. I aim to capture something unique and special about the subject and design with a smile in mind.
I enjoy hand forming, modelling and carving to create my unique three dimensional designs in precious metals often embellishing with gold and/or set with precious gemstones creating one off pieces and small repeatable designs. I not only enjoy creating my own designs but also enjoy remodelling new pieces from old unworn sentimental jewellery that is loved and enjoyed once more by the recipient.
