A captivating and beautifully hand crafted solid silver octopus ring. Hand finished to a high polish and oxidised (blackened) to enhance its textured details. Inspired by the oceans deep sea creatures, this octopus hugs your finger with two of its tentacles that form the band.
The ring is a comfort fit, this is a ring with a curved interior that touches the finger and a flat exterior and is a comfrtable way to wear a large ring. The ring has been skillfully modelled by hand by Vanessa, using a specialist material. The final model is used to create a mould where waxes are taken to cast in precious metal. This ring is cast in solid sterling silver and is hand finished to a high polish before being oxidised to turn the metal black.

All items of jewellery are designed and crafted inhouse by Vanessa Miller in her workshop with help from local experts in casting and stonesetting in Birmingham's historic Jewellery Quarter in the UK. All orders are carefully crafted and beautifully finished, tucked inside a box wrapped in tissue paper and delivered to you nestled inside a recycled carton.
